The Dokumentationszentrum had a temporary exhibit, "Topf & Sons, a Perfectly Ordinary Company". Topf made cremation ovens and contracted with the Nazis to build ovens for the camps. During the course of WWII, Topf engineers designed increasingly more efficient ovens, such as the one shown here in their patent application. After the war, Topf management denied knowing how their ovens were put to use at the camps.
