The trip was over for the survivors of the Explorer, but our voyage had just begun. We continued south toward the Antarctic peninsula and would make several landings every day, visiting the wildlife in this, the coldest and driest and windiest place on earth. We would see much of this natural wonder in all its glory, and stand in awe of its rugged beauty. We'll spend this Christmas season with many memories of our very special voyage to the Antarctic.
