Every landing was a wet landing, but we were well prepared with heavy clothing .The putting on of heavy socks and rubber boots and thermal underwear and rubber pants and the red jackets supplied us by Lindblad was well worth the effort when we reached the shore. The temperature was usually around 33 degrees F (l degree C).
