But we did see birds including this little Arctic tern basking in the sun on a piece of ice. This tern travels farther than any other migratory bird in the world, flying up to 18,000 miles round trip from islands north of the Arctic circle to the mountains of Antarctica. So let it have a nice long rest on that piece of ice!
