Germany - Bavaria
Bavaria has the most renown scenic sites and the highest number of UNESCO World Cultural heritage sites than any other states in Germany. Besides visiting the well-known Neuschwanstein Castle and resident palaces built by the past Bavarian kings, I was able to cover the sacred Wieskirche Church, Residenz at Wurzburg, the medieval towns of Bamberg and Regensburg. I also went to Nuremberg, another interesting medieval town which started the Xmas Bazaar in Germany but with a dark history as the HQ of NAZI movement during Hitler's time. Lesser known to outsiders is Dokumentationszentrum at the outskirt of Nuremberg which is one of the best war museums I have ever seen.
