During my 2007 Dayton business trip, I had a weekend to fill, so I used it for some Kentucky sightseeing. Across the Ohio River from Louisville is the town of Clarksville, Indiana, home to Falls of the Ohio State Park. A lock and dam system has hidden the falls, but they also exposed some fossil-rich limestone flats. Lewis & Clark passed through here en route to the Louisiana Purchase lands.
