Our last trip back home was in September 2007. It was a much nicer trip compared to our 2004 trip. (note, our 2004 trip was great!) On our most recent trip, we had more time to visit many interesting sites, off of the main roads. I first left Yianitsa in 1975 and my favorite thing to do now, is to visit the smaller villages that remind me of "the way it used to be". If you go to Yiannitsa, be sure to visit the Monestary just outside of Yiannitsa. The Sisters there were so kind, serving and interesting. This is a highly agricultural area, so expect a wide variety of fresh fruits, vegatables and other crops and many supportive industries. But, the very best thing to do is to share time with family and friends. It's difficult to have two families, separated by 5,000 miles. But, perhaps we only have twice the enjoyment in life!We look forward to sharing our pictures from our 2007 Greece trip to include Macadonia area, Delphi, Volvos, Athena, Agenia Island. Yasas!
