Photo: Shahram Razavi --- For being a country of just 9 million inhabitants, with an aerial size a little bigger than that of Germany, Sweden has managed to produce a long list of impressive celebrities, scientists, inventors, trademarks and products: ABBA, Volvo, SAAB, Greta Garbo, Ingrid Bergman, Ingmar Bergman, Jenny Lind, Alfred Nobel, Carl Von Linné (Biologist/scientist), Rune Elmqvist (The inventor of the first pacemaker), IKEA, H&M, Björn Borg, dental implants, and numerous famous singers and popgroups, just to mention a few. Sweden has also undoubtedly produced one of the most beautiful cities in the world - Stockholm! Sweden is probably the most progressive country in the world, with a very high standard of living.
