(sometimes called “Lisbon’s Eiffel Tower”) A short distance to the west of Restauradores Square, is this gothic-style 45m (like Niagara Falls) iron tower, built by one of Eiffel’s students. It contains an elevator to the Barrio Alto commercial district, a café, and an observation deck from which one gets a fine view across the Baixa toward the castle.
