Photos from the three regions to the south of Santiago - the VI, VII and VIII regions. The VI region, capital Rancagua has the famos El Teniente copper mine, the world's largest underground mine, and high up in the Ands at over 2,000 metres the ghost town of Sewell, which until the 1970's housed 20,000 people and is now UNESCO world heritage listed. El Teniente's workers now live in Rancagua. As well the VI region has good trekking and the famous Colchagua wine valley which has amazing wines. The VII regions is about 3
