San Francisco Chinese New Year Parade, 2/20/2008. Dragons dancing around live fireworks. It was heavy rain and wind 40+ mph, and higher at times. You can see the dragons were wrapped in plastic to protect them from the rain. Outdoor available lighting. Nikon D80, F/5, 1/60 sec., ISO 1250, 56mm focal length, no flash, manual WB, pattern metering, tripod. The wind was blowing so hard and it was pouring rain most of the time even with a tripod the wind created shake. I used a plastic bag and rubber bands to protect my camera. I saw professional videographers had their cameras wrapped with saran type plastic. I'm going to try that next time! My focus was on the middle dragon facing me. He was framed by two other dragons leading you into the subject.
