From Beaverton, Oregon, to Seattle, Washington, to Lima, Peru, and beyond.

The journey started on October 9, 2007. This album ends on October 12, the day we arrived in Huancayo after a very long bus ride on a narrow and winding road.

Peru's capital, Lima is home to over 8 million people. It's fast-paced, polluted, ugly, and loud. Our first couple of days in Peru were spent timidly exploring Miraflores, the suburb we stayed in, shopping for Spanish/English dictionaries, figuring out that toilet paper really DOES clog the toilets, and learning about how to not get ripped off by cab drivers.
