These are the 450 dollar a night rooms. They are pretty nice, but come with a bunch of other shit, most of which is worthless. Dog sled tour=five minute of frost bite. Ice Museum=who cares? What we wanted to see was the bloody Aurora Borealis, which is really most visible in late fall (November) and early Spring (February/March) But marketing whores will do anything to get your money, especially in the dead of Winter (January). My advice?? Go a la carte. Buy your room, and book the other shit as you see fit. The neatest thing about this room is that it is in a refurbished trailer that was brought down from the North Slope. If it's any consolation, we didn't see the aurora borealis but we did see the lunar eclipse from the parking lot of Walmart in Renton, WA.
