These pictures were taken over New Years Eve weekend in January of 2008 in the Southern Chester County, Pennsylvania area an hour or so west of the city of Philadelphia. Ah, winter in Pennsylvania! My parents live in Elk Township just a stones throw from the Pennsylvania Maryland border (the fabled Mason Dixon line), in a home that backs on the Big Elk Creek.
