Thanks to the Penang Botanical Garden's ( Jabatan Kebun Bunga ) generosity, the Federation Of Malaya Orchid Society ( FOMOS ), Penang, held its 1st. monthly orchid show for 2008 on 23rd. February at the Pavilion Formal Garden, Botanical Garden's. This one day monthly show saw participants from Penang, Butterworth, Alor Star, Sungai Petani and Ipoh taking part, with a total of 128 flowering orchid plants, with their tremendous blooms on exhibit.
