I travelled across one of the more picturesque borders in Europe by taking a bus from Wroclaw to Jelenia Gora in the southwest of Poland and then crossing the Sudeten Mountains to the tiny ski resort town of Harrachov in northern Czechia.
Harrachov was a very nice place to stay. It was catered toward the tourists but felt like a ghost town as all the tourists had disappeared along with the snow. Quite a nice unexpected stopover. ... (more)
