Hello Indian....
This not hasty conclusion... the temple is indeed more than 1500 years old... and i just pointed out that whatever you have shown in your post should have been taken after 1987.... and now most part of the temple is found to be renovated.... and you should go and see the "Kali" temple controlled by government... it is so small temple that (i heard) had a kumbabhishegam recently is not being maintained well.... please put the photos of that temple as well... and let us know what you have got to say abt that... and clearly you have some abhoration towards ttteeeksssatars....;)

Are you trying to say Chidamparam came into existent only in 1987. It is a temple more than 1000 years. I am not an Indian and I have no vested interest. There is no way the temple would have been like "Chidambaram Temple Complex 1979" during 1980s.. as the Kumbabhishekam was done only in 1987!! But i really appreciate your interest in temple!!

I doubt your claim
Few days back only i went to chidambaram. I could not see anything bad there, atleast i could not see anywhere the ruined structure as you have depicted in your post. Also all the gopurams are looking fresh and still (i accept) the surroundings need to be tidy. I believe you have predicted too much for the future. Also your intention is pretty clear that you have a very mindset that the temple should be taken by Government. I am not infavor of that though!!...
