Photos from Chile’s world famous XII region, the centre of Patagonian tourism which includes the magnificent Torres del Paine National Park north of Puerto Natales. In Torres del Paine we did the five day “W” circuit from the Torres, past Los Cuernos, through Valle Frances, Lago Petrohue and up to Glacier Grey. About 75km in total, and we were very lucky with the weather! South of Torres del Paine National Park is the rustic tourist/fishing town of Puerto Natales, and three hours further south along a very flat, empty land, the regional capital of Punta Arenas – a port city focusing mainly on agriculture and fishing.
