Bath lies in the English County of Somerset and is known for it's classical architecture and the old Roman baths. The Romans are said to have been attracted here by the presence of hot springs. Romans thrived in Bath for nearly 400 years and the city declined soon after the Romans left Britain. It was not until the eighteenth century that it once again gained importance.

Easily the main attraction of this city is the Roman Bath dating back to the 1st century AD. The baths are well preserved and are now only a tourist attraction. Most of the structures are reconstructed.
