This is almost the same angle of 1923 photo it was taken after the will of saharasafaris.org founder. The new buildings in the mid of the photo (built in the traditional style) is less than 2 years old, it is a hotel named "el-bab enshal". Opinions are with and against such building. I'll try to publish another article for that.
