It was the largest temple in Ancient Rome located at the far east side of the Forum Romanum near the Colosseum. The temple was dedicated to Venus Felix, the ancestress of the Roman people & to the genius of the city, Roma Aeterna. The construction of the temple started in AD 121. There are total of 10 columns across its principal facade.
