Beautiful
Thanks for the beautiful pics of Budapest. My camera broke when I was there a few years back so most of my images of Budapest are sequestered in the recesses of my grey matter. I especially like the shots of the fisherman's bastion and the Gellert baths. There is a novel by an American writer entitled Prague that tells the story of expats in Budapest around the time of the fall of the iron curtain. An intertwining saga of a fictitious family publishing business colourfully reviews the 20th century history of Budapest. The book despite its title (the city that the expats are longing to move to)captures the vibe of Budapest quite nicely. I've enjoyed many of your postings. Keep up your adventurous spirit. Cheers! Jan.
