can be seen behind the village bus stop. Note the auto rickshaws on the left & the sturdy old Ambassador taxis on the right. Auto rickshaws, very popular in India & other parts of SE Asia, are basically converted 3-wheeled motorbikes with a bench seat for passengers. (Because they're noisy, they're called "tuk tuks' in Thailand.) The Ambassadors are an Indian-made car that has been in production since 1957 & is modeled after the English Morris Oxford. They are often used for taxis these days.
