Oamaru- a town famous for its limestone buildings and blue penguins. I loved the sign for the penguin crossing. They also warned us to check under our cars before starting them to make sure no penguins were hiding there. The blue penguins were the third native penguins we saw on the trip. Unfortunately, they do not allow photographs at this location but we saw over 60 penguins come to shore that evening.
