We flew into GUA on Apr 2, 2008 and had arranged transportation to take us 2 1/2 hours to Panajachel, a town on the coast of Lake Atitlan. We stayed for 5 days before going to Antigua. We ate at many good restaurants (and a few that gave us digestive problems) and took lots of great hikes. We took a boat tour of surrounding villages, a day trip to Chichicastenango market, walks to the Pana local market, and a "hike" to the Reserva Natural.
