Very very colorful Fred,
with some fantastic shots, especially closeups. My favs were 22/23 & 24. You must be very happy with your new camera ;o) The floats were fantastic & like you say, very imaginative & 'far out'.... I did notice that the crowd was wearing warm jackets though... brrrrrrrr LOL What was the temp that day?

Pre-Lenten carnival-type celebrations have been held in Nice for about 7 centuries, but in its present form it's only been around for about 130 years.
