prepares ‘teh tarik” ('pulled tea') which is a popular Indian drink. It is tea sweetened with condensed milk & is prepared (pulled) by pouring the piping hot tea from a mug into a waiting glass, repeatedly. The higher the 'pull', the thicker the froth. The 'pulling' also cools the tea. Teh tarik is an art form & watching the tea streaming back & forth between the containers is quite captivating. You will find teh tarik in all “Little Indias” around the world.
