On a stunningly clear but chilly day in late February, Sara and I took a day trip by bus to The Burren in County Clare, Ireland. The bus collected us from Galway and drove through the towns Oranmore, Clarenbridge, Kinvara and stopped at Ballyvaughan.

The bus continued along the scenic coastal road to Fanore near Blackhead and stopped in Doolin at O'Connor's pub for lunch.

After lunch, the bus dropped us at the Cliffs of Moher for an hour to take in the view. ... (more)
