Coorg is situated on the Western Ghats at an average elevation of about 1500-2000 meters above sea level and has a pleasant climate all year round. It is a popular tourist destination because of its misty hills, lush green forests, acres and acres of tea and coffee plantation, orange groves, undulating roads and breathtaking views. Madikeri is a popular hill station of Karnataka.
Tourists do not go to Coorg to see famous monuments, or palaces, or temples. They go to Coorg to see and enjoy nature. I did the same as will be evident from the pictures. I hope you like the pictures.
