After immigrating to Canada as an infant, I returned for the first time to visit my birthplace, Mauritius, after 38 yrs.

I pleasantly discovered that my little island was a tropical paradise. It is situated in the Indian Ocean 900km from Madagascar and has a total area of 1,860 sq km. The population of Mauritius is 1.2 million people.
