The hotel where I stayed in Ooty is built on a very steep hillside. It has a special architecture. The guest rooms are on both sides of this huge staircase going down. This picture was taken from the level of my room looking down. I have taken several pictures of the hotel from lower levels looking up. You will see them towards the end of this article. As you can see from this picture, every room of this hotel comes with its own private balcony, and every room enjoys this view.
