Spectacular Mocambique indeed!The awesome views from the many available campsites and beach houses are really breathtaking.As you come down the rocky,gravel road towards the caravan park and hotel,the amazing view of bouldering waves in the distance welcome you to,what I regard as,thé holiday destination north of Maputo. When you take the sand road carving through the dunes,you get to one of the oldest,non-operational hotels,along this beautifull coastline,just a few kilometres past the Xai-Xai Beach Resort.The images of the good old days run through your head,and you start to imagine how well kept secret this hotel was and the almost royalty treatment you experienced in this hotel.This must have been one of the closest destinations to heaven for the regular traveller. Absolutely amazing!!I start seeing fisions of waiters walking around,with their black and white outfits, attending to the people around the pooldeck and on the verandah-areas.Inside,the lounges are filled with visitors and here and there a scattering laugh echoes through the air.Everybody enjoying themselves.
