Well, actually, Peggy Sue's was not a fixture along Hwy 66 when that famous route existed. It did not come into being until many years after the interstate highways did away with Hwy 66. Still, it's a nice stop along the old Hwy 66, just east of Barstow. Filled with nostalgia, brick-a-brack, outrageous puns, and cholesterol-laden food, it's well worth a visit if you're driving between Los Angeles and Las Vegas.
