Unfortunately, Tennessee Williams' famous Desire Streetcar line has been torn out for many years so all that is left of that famous old system is the St Charles Street line, the Canal Street line, and the Riverfront line. This is the west end of an east-bound car on St Charles in the Garden District. They are a lot of fun to ride, pass through some beautiful areas of New Orleans, and are quite reasonable (for us certified old folks - $.45 per ride).
