Bluebell woods in Leicestershire

Blueballs are incredibly blue , and the perfume takes your breath away.These woods were an amazing sight their luminous blue mirrors of colour reflected from the sky, so tranquil, and we were fortunate to walk amongst the celetial flowers. Just hope you all enjoy as much as we did.

Thanks so much, wish you could've been able to also transmit the smell!! This is the type of thing I miss, living in Arizona (USA) although we do have bougainvillea, pansies, lots of roses, and in the Spring, wild flowers in the desert are wonderful, especially if we've had lots of rain, that winter!

Bluebells
THis year the Bluebell woods have been so beautiful. The clarity of the celestial blue excelled. Coton Manor especially, just a sea of blue...Wonderful...England at it's best

Terry Heaps
Breathtaking Joan, We had a big wood like that in Leyland! (50 years ago) As teens we would try not to trample them and walk around them. Mind you, I just think that all flowers are just as nice. Even a field of dandelions is breathtaking. Cheers Terry.
