Make up & headgear is important. The elaborate make-up code is classified into 5 basic sets, with the differences being the predominant colors that are applied on the face & the color of the beard. For example, excessively evil characters such as demons have predominantly red make-up & a red beard. Note the white chin mask which is known as 'chutti'. It is the thickest makeup done for any artform.
