Thaipusam Penang 2007
23 Jan 2008 Thaipusam in Penang. Thaipusam is Hindu festival celebrated around January or February each year and it is a day of consecration to the Hindu deity, Lord Murugan. Feature of the festival is carrying of a kavadi. In Penang, Hindus carrying the kavadi make the annual pilgrimage to the temple at Waterfall Gardens.
