This is where Harvard's commencement takes place on the first Thursday of June every year. This also is the venue for Harvard's many special occasion celebrations, special lectures, etc. The picture shows the place is being prepared for Harvard's commencement for 2008. Every year many VIP's, Heads of States, and foreign dignitaries come to attend Harvard's commencement either as guest speakers or to receive Honorary Doctorate degrees from Harvard. All the activities take place here, in the Tercentenary Theater.
