This is located in Harvard Yard. Its wide steps are used by students, staffs, local residents, and visitors for sunning, relaxing, reading, eating lunch, etc. on warm days. In winter, the steps usually remain covered with snow, except for a narrow area in the center, which is regularly cleaned so that people can access the library.
