In 1997 I took my wife Roxanne to France for our 10th anniversary. We did a tour that basically went on a counterclockwise perimeter starting in Paris then on to Normandy, Brittany, Loire Valley, Bordeaux,Lourdes, Provence, Rhone Valley, Burgundy, Alsace, Champagne and back to Paris. Roxanne had been battling multiple brain tumours and it was a final trip before their recurrence that ultimately claimed her life in 2000. I've scanned some of the photos from that trip for posterity.
