Sightseeing in Karnataka picture - This palace is best known for its ornate Wedding Pavilion, the ornamental front portion with a hall that was later added to the main building for the wedding of Wodeyar IV. (His coronation was held in this palace in 1902.) The wedding pavilion was also used as the Durbar Hall where he held his annual birthday party, & for the Dasara Durbars until the completion of the new Durbar Hall in the main Palace in 1912. This palace now houses an art gallery.
