This small clock tower, constructed during the rule of Wodeyar IV, was erected to honor Lord Dufferin, the British Viceroy of India from 1884 to 1888. The Indian National Congress was founded during his term in 1885. The clock, which still works, is located in front of the entrance to Devraja market.
