is located on Poonamallee High Road near the Egmore Railway Station. Built for the Scottish community in Madras in 1821, it is sometimes called 'The Queen of Scottish Churches in the East'. Said to be the most beautiful neo-classical church in India, Saint Andrews 'Kirk', as it is often called, is certainly one of its most ancient churches & is now an important part of India's national heritage.
