The Federation of Malaya Orchid Society presented their Golden Anniversary Orchid Show and Sale from 24/5 ~ 1 June 2008. Held on a modest scale and run on a shoe string budget with funds raised through rental of commercial sales booths and donations received in kind from generous donors, this golden anniversary show was held at the Arena Horticulture Centre Car Park, Jalan Kebun Bunga. Thousands of orchid lovers visited the Golden Anniversary Orchid show and Sale 2008.
