At one time, this was a wonderful picnic site with plunging falls. But the water is now being diverted to meet the increasing demands of Penang's growing population & for the vegetable & fruit farms in the area, so the falls are no longer as spectacular as they once were. But it is still a worthy stop if you are touring the west side of the island.
