I have been recently been to Navagraha temples. i thought of sharing some info that will be very useful to all of us. Tamil Nadu is the only place in the whole world where there are individual temples for each Navagraha. If you are interested in visiting the same, please find the maps and other driving information from bangalore or chennai.

Way from bangalore goto chidambaram (340km approx). After that explore all the places within 100 km range as per attached map.

Requires complete 2 days to be there to see all 9 temples or 3 days for comfortable coverage.

FROM BANGALORE BY CAR: Bangalore ==> Hosur==> Krishnagiri==> Uthangkarai ==> Thiruvanaamalai ==> Thirukoilur ==> Banroti ==> Vadalur/Neyveli ==> Bhavanagiri ==> Chidambaram ==> Seirkazhi ==> Vaitheeswaran Koil(from here explore all the places)

FROM BANGALORE TRAIN ROUTE: Bangalore to Myladuthurai or Thanjavur by train and take tourist taxi and have a deal to cover all these places in 2 days or use local transport also.

FROM CHENNAI: Chennai ==> 160km ==> Pondicherry ==> 20km- ==> Cuddalore ==> 50km==> Chidambaram ==> 22km ==> Seirkazhi/sirkali ==> 6Km ==> Vaitheeswaran Koil (from here explore to all the places which is available in other jpeg diagram)

There is a cluster of Navagraha Temples dating from the Chola dynasty near Kumbakonam in Tamil Nadu. Each temple is located in a different village. Each of these temples is considered an abode of one of the Navagrahams. However, the majority of these temples are dedicated to Shiva. The Surya temple is the only one dedicated to the Graham. The Surya temple was built around the 11th or 12th century C.E. The other temples were built earlier, ranging back to 7th-9th century.
