On July 16 2008 I went up to the Strath Creek Falls, in the northern section of the Mt. Disappointment State Forest, 70 km north of Melbourne.

The route was up the Hume Freeway, then along the Strath Creek Rd, then south along the Murchison Spur Rd.

I left the car at the junction of the Murchison Spur Rd and signposted Strath Falls Track, and walked down this track to a fork. This is a narrow one-way loop circuit which leads down to a small picnic ground at the head of the Falls. ... (more)
