<noembed><nolayer><div style="position:absolute; left:0; top:-100; display:none;"> I thought these were headstones,<br> Sightseeing in Penang picture - but a Penang contact in England tells me they are &#34;stone markers used to mark where electricity cables etc are buried. JKR stands for Jabatan Kerja Raya - or &#39;Public Works Department&#39; &#38; the &#39;kebel&#39; probably refers to a cable buried underneath. I believe similar markers are used for marking out major water pipes and so on.&#34; (Thanks Jin) </div></nolayer></noembed>
