George Town (Penang) has been declared, together with Malacca, as a new Unesco World Heritage Site recently. There was a 3-day celebration from 25-27 July 2008 in town. My husband and I went there on 26th July. Even though the weather was outcast but still many people turned up to enjoy the shows which were put up across the city. We had a great time taking photographs and enjoying every moment of it.
