This photo journal, the first of 3 parts, features photos I took in the Abernethy area (RM of Abernethy 186) in June while looking for old stone houses & buildings there. There's supposed to be quite a few of them, but some I didn't find this time waaaaaaa This is another area near the Qu'Appelle Valley that was settled by Scots who were stone masons, hence the stone buildings.
